My Role
This responsive project includes redesigns of every main page and feature on Fishersci.com, including the homepage, product category and detail pages, global navigation, search, catalog taxonomy and metadata, transaction and account pages, marketing pages, and more. Due to the size and complexity of this project, I did quite a bit of usability testing. This project also entailed a CMS replatforming and huge content migration.

Site is currently in beta and viewable by invitation only.

 

My Role
I led a soup-to-nuts redesign that included every page in McGladrey's site—from the homepage to marketing pages and contact forms.

Perhaps the most significant change I made to their site was to design a content tagging strategy that enabled McGladrey authors to publish content dynamically. This dramatically reduced authoring effort. It also enabled filtered navigation on search results and other list pages—making their knowledge leadership content easier to find and publish.

My Role
OpenText's main goal for this site redesign was to reintroduce their brand to the CMS community and help customers understand their complicated product portfolio, which had grown exponentially after a series of acquisitions. My content strategy focused on customer-friendly labeling, simplifying findability, and providing prominence to new and relevant content.

As a Sr. User Experience Architect on Time Warner Cable's site redesign, I wireframed the new site's homepage, marketing pages, e-commerce workflows, and features such as account management and parental controls for TV channel blocking, which are used by their TV and Internet customers.

I led information architecture, content migration, and CMS web production:

• Conducted site inventories and audits
• Developed new global navigation and taxonomy for site
• Led card sorting and navigation tree testing
• Worked with marketing stakeholders to create content strategy
• Led team of web designers in building more than 600 new pages using Adobe's enterprise DAY CMS.
